About us
The association was born as a result of a beautiful collaboration between father Eduard-Daniel Bran and pediatrician Gabriela Iacob. In 2005, we opened a medical office in the parish office of the “Pogorârea Sfântului Duh” Parish in Focșani. The needs of the community have increased, so the creation of a center to meet these needs was required. The center was founded by donations, and is still financed exclusively by donations.
Support for children with autism
Through this new project we want to support the community by offering recuperative therapies for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. These sessions will take place 1 on 1, the therapist and the child. There will also be socialization therapies, but that will also depend on the children who will request and be present here.
The DA Center
The center is structured on two levels, respectively on two distinct activities. The medical part operates on the ground floor, and educational activities take place in the basement. On the ground floor we have three offices: a pediatric office, a psychology office and a speech therapy office, with toilets, a waiting room and a small office, and in the basement we have three large rooms where we carry out our formal and non-formal education activities. There we do free preparation for the main exam subjects, in the 8th grade: Mathematics and Romanian, in the 12th grade: Mathematics, Romanian Language, Sociology, Logic, History and Geography.
